Brabin is staying upbeat despite going out of the FA Cup in the first round
Cambridge United boss Gary Brabin has called on his side to take the positives out of their FA Cup defeat at Kidderminster on Saturday.
The U's went out at the first round stage after slipping to a 1-0 defeat against the Harriers.
Brabin told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "I'm looking at the big picture and I'm happy with the way we're doing things.
"I think if we just keep believing in what we're doing we'll get the rub of the green."
The U's are currently seventh in the Blue Square Premier, only four points off top spot, and Brabin is refusing to be too downbeat as Cambridge turn their attentions back to the league.
"We're disappointed to go out of the FA Cup - it was always going to be a difficult draw away from home at Kidderminster," he said.
"We've come here and couldn't put in any more in terms of effort.
"We look a big, strong, well-organised unit, we look dangerous on set pieces, we're looking fit and we're playing some good football."
