A Justin Richards penalty gave Kidderminster victory over Blue Square Premier rivals Cambridge United.
Kidderminster dominated the first half with the front pair of Matthew Barnes-Homer and Richards a constant threat.
Harriers went ahead when Wayne Hatswell fouled Richards in the box and the striker netted from the spot.
Cambridge improved after the break with substitute Felino Jardim hitting the post with a 20-yard shot and Phil Bolland and Mark Beesley going close.
