Knill's side won just one game in the month of December
Bury boss Alan Knill has said his main concern during the January transfer window is retaining his players.
Despite taking just five points from their last five games, the Shakers' young squad are in the League Two top six at the season's mid-point.
Knill told BBC Radio Manchester: "The biggest and most important thing is I don't lose any players.
"We've put together a decent squad and I wouldn't want it to be disrupted by losing any of the players."
He added: "Having said that, I'm always hoping to strengthen the squad - it's just that we're obviously working with a budget and we'll have to see what's out there for what we can afford."
