Knill's side remain second in League Two despite their defeat by Bournemouth

Bury manager Alan Knill hopes his side can bounce back quickly from Saturday's shock 2-0 defeat at Bournemouth.

The Shakers play fellow League Two high-flyers Darlington, Shrewsbury and Wycombe in a tough festive programme.

And Knill knows they must improve on their display at Dean Court, telling BBC Radio Manchester: "Hopefully, it was just a blip.

"We have three tough games coming up so we need to quickly get back to winning ways or even just be more competitive."
