Bury went back to second in the table with a comfortable win over Port Vale.
Glynn Hurst set up Ben Futcher to open the scoring on two minutes, before Andy Bishop chested the ball down for Hurst to make it 2-0.
Hurst's fourth goal of the season, a close-range poke home from Mike Jones's corner, came right on half-time.
In the second half, a goal-line block by Gareth Owen denied Elliott Bennett and Vale keeper Lee Anyon had to be at his best to deny Bishop.
