Burton boss Paul Peschisolido hails Greg Pearson deal
Pearson has scored 13 league goals in 23 starts this season
Burton Albion manager Paul Peschisolido says Greg Pearson's willingness to agree a new contract shows the striker's ambition matches the club's.
The striker has signed a two-year deal, keeping him at the Brewers until 2012.
"He sees what we are trying to do, that we are trying to progress. He sees we are going to grow and grow and grow," Peschisolido told BBC Radio Derby.
Pearson, 25, has been on a part-time deal while he finishes studying but will be full-time next season.
Peschisolido added: "He has showed some loyalty as well because the club have looked after him as there were not many clubs that would have allowed him to continue his studies and not train.
"We want to keep our best players and Greg has been fantastic."
