Burton Albion have completed the signing of Bishop's Stortford striker Greg Pearson on a two-year-contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 23-year-old finished top scorer in the Blue Square South last season, scoring 35 goals in all competitions.
Albion faced tough competition to secure his services, after he spent the whole of pre-season on trial with League Two outfit Notts County.
Pearson is expected to make his debut against Walsall on Saturday.
Pearson's goals helped fire Bishop's Stortford into fourth place last season.
He was also voted player of the year for the 2007/08 season at the Hertfordshire club.
Pearson will provide strong competition for Brewers' recognised strikers Shaun Harrad and fellow new signing, ex-Manchester United trainee Jody Banim.
