Akinde gets backing from Lines
Bristol Rovers midfielder Chris Lines says he is aiming to exceed the 11 goals he scored last season.
Rovers have struggled to find the net this campaign and have suffered a further setback with top goalscorer Will Hoskins out for up to a month.
But Lines has chipped in with four goals already and wants to add to that.
"It only takes for you to go on a run for a few games and it's 10 already and that's my aim again this season," he told BBC Points West.
The 24-year-old added: "With Will out now it's one of our main goal threats gone. It's good to be scoring and it's something I need to be doing all season."
"Last season when Lambo [Ricky Lambert] went I started scoring a few more."
I set my standards high last season by getting as many goals as I did and so far I think I've started pretty well

"Obviously Will's only going to be out for a month but hopefully in that time the goals he's not going to be getting I can try and chip in and get a few more.
"I set my standards high last season by getting as many goals as I did and so far I think I've started pretty well."
And the central midfielder had words of support for on-loan striker John Akinde, who has yet to find the net since arriving from Bristol City in August.
Akinde provided the perfect foil for fellow front-man Joe Kuffour to score a hat-trick in the 6-3 win against Wycombe Wanderers.
"A special mention to him for the other night - he deserved a goal really for how hard he worked," said Lines.
"I think he set up two and it's only a matter of time before he gets a goal.
"He's big, strong and and there's not a lot of defenders in this league that can deal with him."
