Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips is set to resume training with the club, after a proposed transfer to Ankara fell through.
The 31-year-old flew to Turkey on Sunday for talks with the Super Lig side, but was unable to agree a deal.
Phillips has made 165 appearances for Rovers since signing in 2006.
"No deal was agreed over in Turkey so we expect him to be training on Thursday," first-team coach Paul Trollope told BBC Radio Bristol.
Despite his return, Phillips' future at Bristol Rovers remains uncertain.
Loan goalkeeper Fraser Forster played in goal on the opening day of the season against Leyton Orient, while Rhys Evans has just signed a short-term deal with the club.
Meanwhile, transfer-listed forward Lewis Haldane is set to join Newport County on loan.
Haldane has not played for Bristol Rovers since April 2008, and spent the whole of last season on loan at Oxford United.
