Bristol Rovers goalkeeper Steve Phillips has signed a two-year contract extension to keep him at the Memorial Stadium until 2010. Phillips, 28, joined the club on a free transfer from Bristol City last summer and has kept 22 clean sheets.
Rovers boss Paul Trollope said: "We are delighted Steve has signed an extension to his contract.
"Since he has been with us he has shown he is one of the best keepers in the lower divisions."
