Green played only 14 games last season

Bristol Rovers defender Ryan Green is set to play for the first time in eight months on the club's tour of Sweden.

The 27-year-old has been out with an achilles problem and has not played since November last year.

"I can't wait to get my boots on and start playing again," he told the club's website. "If I'm honest I feel I owe the club a whole season."

First team coach Paul Trollope added: "All being well we'll see him in action in the second or third game on tour."
