Bristol City have signed Costa Rica striker Alvaro Saborio and Dutch midfielder Evander Sno on loan for the rest of the season.
Saborio, 27, joins from Swiss top-flight club FC Sion, where he has scored 36 times in 87 appearances.
Holland under-21 international Sno, 22, arrives from Ajax who he joined in August 2008 after two years at Celtic.
Saborio has scored 18 times in 53 games for Costa Rica while Sno has three goals in 15 under-21 internationals.
City boss Gary Johnson told BBC Points West: "They're two great signings. They look to be football-orientated players and they both wanted to come here."
Sno was in the Ajax side that beat Bristol City 4-0 in a pre-season match at Ashton Gate and Johnson believes it played a key part in him joining the club.

"He remembered the fact that we tried to play football against them. He got a standing ovation and that was a big reason as he felt comfortable here."
Johnson also revealed that they had been chasing Costa Rica forward Saborio for some time.
"Eighteen months ago we asked to bring Alvaro over. He looked at all the videos and the website and got himself Bristolified until the chance came.
"His record speaks for itself. He's very sharp, holds the ball up well and brings his team mates into play."
Meanwhile, City have released strikers Vincent Pericard and Quincy Owusu-Abeyie after 10 days on trial at the club.
