Interview: Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown

Bristol City chairman Steve Lansdown says the club will have 30m to spend on players if the Robins are promoted.

"I'd quote 40m as being the increase in TV rights and monies we'd expect," he told BBC Points West.

"There's a good proportion we can use for the squad and that excites me because it means we can compete.

"There's certain things we'd like to get balanced to get the club straight, but I'd say three-quarters of it to start with and then we go from there."
