Brighton defender Adam El-Abd will be suspended for one match after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season in their 1-0 win over Brentford.
The 26-year-old will now miss Albion's trip to Tranmere Rovers in League One on Saturday.
El-Abd told BBC Sussex: "As a centre-half there'd be something wrong if you go through a whole season without getting five yellow cards.
"You'd either read the game ridiculously well or never tackle."
He added: "I was aware before the game I was on four and I was doing my best not to get a yellow.

"The situation arose when I had to take one for the team, and picked up the booking.
"It's unfortunate I've picked up five so quickly. I'll take it on the chin and move on."
Club captain Gordon Greer will compete with youngster Lewis Dunk to deputise for El-Abd against Tranmere.
