Crawley top-scorer Matt Tubbs scored twice to inflict defeat on Tamworth as his side moved top of the league.
Michael Wylde's first-half strike from outside the area put Tamworth ahead.
But moments later Crawley levelled when keeper Ross Atkins failed to clear from Dean Howell's free-kick and Tubbs knocked in from close range.
Straight after the restart, Ben Smith headed in Sergio Torres' cross and the Reds sealed the win when Tubbs slotted home Craig McAllister's pass.
