Taylor is Brentford's twelfth signing of the summer
Brentford have signed winger Cleveland Taylor for an undisclosed fee from Carlisle United.
The 25-year-old Jamaican has agreed a two-year contract and is Bees boss Andy Scott's 12th signing of the summer.
"I have been tracking Cleveland for a year," the Bees boss told the club's official website.
"We have shown we have a lot more pace, power and energy about us this year and the signing of Cleveland gives us even more healthy competition for places."
Taylor's last game for Carlisle was in Brentford's 3-1 win at Brunton Park on the opening day of the League One.
Scott said: "Those who were at Carlisle last Saturday will have seen the attributes [Cleveland] can bring to the football club."
Taylor joined Carlisle from Scunthorpe United in January 2008. He made almost 200 appearances in his four years at Glanford Park and missed just one game when the Irons won the League One championship two years ago.
