Kovac scored one goal while on loan at West Ham at the end of last season
West Ham have completed the signing of Czech Republic midfielder Radoslav Kovac from Spartak Moscow for an undisclosed fee.
Kovac was on loan at the club at the end of last season and made nine appearances for the Hammers.
The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with the Upton Park club.
Kovac could play in the club's opening Premier League game against Wolves on Saturday if West Ham get international clearance in time.
Kovac has figured for his country at the World Cup in 2006 and Euro 2008 and brings Champions League and Uefa Cup experience to manager Gianfranco Zola's side.
