Taylor joined Scunthorpe from Bolton four years ago |
Carlisle have made a second bid to sign Scunthorpe winger Cleveland Taylor. The Cumbrians had initially tabled a 75,000 offer for the 24-year-old, but have now increased their bid for Taylor - who is also a target for Tranmere.
"Taylor has got it all in his locker to do it at this level and help us to get where we would like to go," manager John Ward told BBC Radio Cumbria.
Taylor has made 174 league appearances for Scunthorpe since joining them from Bolton in 2004, initially on loan.
However, he has started just 13 league and cup games this season, coming off the bench a further eight times.
He is under contract at Glanford Park until the end of this season.
