Brentford manager Andy Scott has said the club's seventh new signing Marvin Williams has great potential.
The Bees boss told BBC London 94.9: "He was very highly thought of when he was playing for Millwall.
"I was watching him and he was a shining light in some of the things they were doing and he scored five goals in his first ten starts."
The 20-year-old midfielder has signed an initial one-year deal for an undisclosed fee from Yeovil.
Scott added: "If we can recapture that form, work on him and make him a better player then there's no doubt he can go on and be good for us.
"The players I've signed can adapt and I think in the league that we're in there's going to be times when you've got injuries or suspensions.
I'm not just trying to invent the football but trying to re-invent the club

"Our team might have to adapt a bit and if you're capable of doing that then you can carry on maintaining good results when you're losing influential players.
"They're putting the faith in us that we can make them better players and we're putting faith in them that they can make us a successful side.
"I'm not just trying to invent the football but trying to re-invent the club and changing views and changing the mentality of everybody involved, fans, players, staff, everybody, it's being geared into being a successful football club."
