Brentford have signed winger Marvin Williams from Yeovil.

The 20-year-old has moved to the League Two side for a nominal fee and has signed an initial one-year contract.

Williams spent only one season at Huish Park and missed three months of the campaign with an ankle injury.

Bees boss Andy Scott told the club's website: "Marvin is quick and direct.

"He can play wide on the right or up front - he has a lot of potential."

Williams came through the youth system at Millwall and made his full league debut in December 2005. He signed for Yeovil in July 2007.
