Brentford caretaker boss Andy Scott has said he hopes to succeed Terry Butcher as the club's next permanent manager. Scott has led the side to a win and a draw in his first two games in charge.
"With Christmas coming up when you don't do much training it would be hard for someone else to come in," he told the club website.
"That's a benefit to me as I can have more games. If we can get more results like this I'd like to think it would be hard for the board not to give me it."
