Scott scored 28 goals in 118 league appearances for Brentford |
New Brentford manager Terry Butcher has appointed former Bees striker Andy Scott as his assistant. Scott, hugely popular with Bees fans during a career of just over three years at Griffin Park, was sold to Oxford in 2001.
He moved on to Leyton Orient in 2004 but a year later was forced to retire because of a heart problem before being appointed as the O's youth team coach.
"It's great to be back and I can't wait to get on with the job," said Scott.

Butcher told the club website: "Clearly I've been keen to appoint someone who has knowledge of the lower divisions and in Andy I have the perfect man.
"The two of us have a big, big job to do and it's already underway."
