O'Leary signed for the Bantams on a short-term deal in August
Bradford City will be without midfielder Steve O'Leary for at least a month after he broke his toe.
A specialist has confirmed that the 24-year-old will not be able to kick a ball for at least four weeks.
Bradford manager Stuart McCall told the Telegraph & Argus: "He's broken a little bone in the joint, which was only picked up when he had a scan.
"It's a big blow for the lad and for us because he's just got to rest for a while now and keep his fitness up."
It is a busy time in the Valley Parade treatment room with several other players a doubt for Saturday's game at home to Burton.
Goalkeeper Simon Eastwood has a badly bruised calf but should be available for the weekend and Chris Brandon could be back in contention despite a hamstring strain, while strikers Gareth Evans and James Hanson are both nursing calf problems. Michael Boulding is back in training after a virus.
McCall said: "Peter Thorne is about 10 days away from joining in again but, apart from Steven, I would hope that we'll have everyone back within the next two weeks."
