Bradford City winger Omar Daley has been ruled out for the rest of the season with knee ligament damage.
The Jamaica international, 27, has been told he needs an operation to cure the injury he picked up against Darlington.
"The scan showed it wasn't good. The surgeon will take a look at it but we expect the worse," City manager Stuart McCall told BBC Radio Leeds.
"The operation will rule Omar out for the rest of the season, unless there is some kind of miracle."
