Bournemouth boss Eddie Howe admits there is some uncertainty over his future in the job.
His comments come after chief executive Alastair Saverimutto, who appointed him back in January, resigned this week.
The 31-year-old told BBC Radio Solent: "Whoever comes in will have their own ideas - if that includes me then great. If not then so be it."
A consortium headed by former operations director Adam Murry are still negotiating to buy the club.
Howe added: "I can't let it worry me, but new people coming in can mean a change of boss. It's happened at this club this season.
"All I can concentrate on is getting results and let everything take care of itself."
Howe has gained six wins in 13 matches since being appointed at the start of the year, boosting their League Two survival hopes.
"Whatever happens, I will do my best to keep this club up while I'm in the job," he added
Howe also had words of praise for Saverimutto.
"I always got on well with Savvy. He stuck his neck out and gave me the job," he said.
"I'll be forever grateful to him. It wasn't an easy decision for him to make on someone so young, especially after I lost my first two games."
