League Two side Bournemouth have signed striker Michael Rankine on a one-month loan deal from Rushden & Diamonds.
The 23-year-old scored 14 goals for Diamonds last season, but has only started one game for them this season.
Cherries boss Jimmy Quinn was forced to move for a striker following injuries to Jeff Goulding and Alan Connell.
He told BBC Radio Solent: "There has been a few clubs after him. He's a different type of forward so hopefully he'll do a good job."
The forward joined Diamonds from Alfreton Town in 2006 after impressing during a trial spell at Nene Park.
