Yeovil defender Scott Guyett has become AFC Bournemouth's first signing of the summer.
The Ascot-born Australian had his deal cancelled by mutual consent so he could join the Cherries as a free agent.
Manager Kevin Bond told BBC Radio Solent: "He's an experienced player who is tall and a big threat in both penalty areas, just what we need."
The 32-year-old,who has also played for Aldershot Town, Oxford United, Chester and Southport has signed a 2 year deal.
Bond added: "He's a good trainer with a will to win, I watched him get the man-of-the-match award at Swindon last season and we're hoping he'll bring us some experience."
