Substitute Ricky Sappleton's late strike salvaged a draw for Bournemouth at Football League new boys Aldershot.

The Shots took the lead when Louis Soares was found by Marvin Morgan and he went on to beat Shwan Jalal.

Cherries boss Kevin Bond threw Sappleton into the fray for Sammy Igoe as his side looked to save a point.

Bond's gamble paid off as the on-loan Leicester striker collected the ball on the edge of the box and drilled a shot into the top corner.
