Cummings broke his arm after falling awkwardly |
Bournemouth defender Warren Cummings suffered a broken arm in Saturday's 1-1 draw with Northampton at Dean Court. The left-back, 26, had come on as a substitute just after the interval after Russell Perrett suffered a suspected torn hamstring.
But Cummings only lasted 13 minutes before he fell awkwardly on his left side, and had to be helped off.
To add to boss Kevin Bond's injury woes, defender Ryan Garry was taken to hospital for an X-ray on a leg injury.
Cummings was previously sidelined between March 2005 and August 2006 with a broken leg, but returned to make 33 appearances last season, signed a new contract in the summer and has featured in every game this season.
