Blackpool boss Ian Holloway urges players to impress
Blackpool are two points off the play-offs in Holloway's first season
Blackpool manager Ian Holloway admits a number of members of his squad are playing for their long-term futures at Bloomfield Road.
Holloway said he will only deal with the 13 players who are out of contract at the end of the season.
"If the players are good enough they might get a new contract," he told BBC Radio Lancashire.
"But if they're not I might have to change them. That isn't a threat, it's just a fact."
He added: "Hopefully they'll want to show me by giving that bit extra like they have all season."
Whatever we do this season we've got to try and be better next year

Holloway hopes his current squad can muster a concerted push for the Championship play-offs.
The Seasiders are currently seventh in the Championship following back-to-back home wins over Middlesbrough and Reading.
"I think we've got a bit of a swagger about the place," he said.
"We've now kept three clean sheets in a row. We look like we can score and don't look like we'll concede and we look like a good footballing and attacking side.
"We are at the business end of the season and we're a little bit further off the pace than we wanted to be. So we're going to need a big run of back-to-back wins.
"Do I think we can do it? Yes I do. But whether we can achieve that at the right time who knows.
"If we don't do it it won't be as good a season as it should be. But whatever we do this season we've got to try and be better next year."
