Blackpool have unveiled Ian Holloway as their new manager.
The 46-year-old has signed a one-year contract at Bloomfield Road, with an option for a second year.
He replaces Tony Parkes, who had been caretaker boss since January following Simon Grayson's move to Leeds but left the Championship club this week.
Former QPR and Plymouth boss Holloway had been out of work for the last year since leaving Leicester after their relegation to League One.
Holloway began his managerial career as player-manager of Bristol Rovers.
"We are delighted to be able to welcome a manager of Ian's calibre to Bloomfield Road," chairman Karl Oyston told the club website.
"He is a very professional and thorough person who ticked all the boxes and has an excellent track record.
"He is hungry to take the club forward."
