Blackpool assistant manager Tony Parkes and first-team coach Steve Thompson have signed new deals which will keep them at Bloomfield Road until 2010. The pair have been instrumental in the Championship club's recent revival.
Parkes and Thompson helped the club win promotion to English football's second tier for the first time in 29 years.
"We feel we're punching above our weight. What we have done so far has been above expectation," Parkes, 58, told BBC Radio Lancashire.

Parkes arrived at Bloomfield Road in December 2005 after a long and successful involvement with Blackburn's coaching staff which culminated in winning the Premier League title in 1995.
Thompson started with the club's Centre of Excellence before becoming Head of Youth in 2005.
The 43-year-old took over the role as first-team coach 12 months later.
Parkes also paid tribute to the impact Simon Grayson has made in his first spell in management.
"Working with Simon Grayson has been excellent and we all just hope we can take Blackpool further," he said.
