Birmingham City's Krystian Pearce has had his loan with Scunthorpe extended until the end of the season.

Pearce, 18, has been with the Iron since August and will now stay at Glanford Park until 4 May 2009.

Should Scunthorpe be involved in the play-offs, Pearce will be available to be involved.

Pearce is a an England under-18 international and has featured in 20 games for Scunthorpe, scoring one goal in that time.
