Barnsley boss Robins may send Iain Hume out on loan
Hume joined Barnsley from Leicester in June 2008
Barnsley manager Mark Robins has said he will consider sending striker Iain Hume out on loan after leaving him out of the squad against Crystal Palace.
The 26-year-old has struggled to get a regular run in the first team at Oakwell since he recovered from a fractured skull sustained in 2008.
"Iain's not getting any games here, so it might be right that he goes out on loan," Robins told BBC Radio Sheffield.
"I'll keep an eye on his frustration and hope it doesn't boil over."
He added: "He wasn't in the 18 last weekend and will be rightly disappointed. We will be talking to him on a daily basis."
The Canadian international joined Barnsley from Leicester City in June 2008 and fractured his skull playing against Sheffield United in November that year.
