Paul Reid and Dwayne Mattis have left Barnsley, after their contracts were cancelled by mutual consent.

Defender Reid signed for the Reds in 2004, but made four appearances last season and Mattis played just twice.

Meanwhile, manager Simon Davey has confirmed that Blackpool have made a �150,000 offer for Martin Devaney.

It triggers a clause in the midfielder's contract that means he can talk to the Lancashire club, but they do not have to sell him at that price.
