Former Everton striker and England under-21 international Danny Cadamarteri has joined Championship side Barnsley on trial. The 27-year-old, who started his career at Oakwell, has had spells with Bradford (twice), Leeds and Sheffield United after leaving Everton in 2002.
"Danny left Bradford in the summer and is a free agent now," Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie told the club's website.
"He has been training with us all week and we will have a closer look at him."
