Chester hope Bradford accept their bid for Cadamarteri |
Danny Cadamarteri is poised to sign for First Division Leeds after agreeing to move from Bradford. He is due to undergo a medical at Leeds' training ground on Tuesday to prove his fitness after missing large parts of last season through injury.
Chester were keen to sign the former Everton striker, but Leeds were always favourites to sign the 24-year-old after renewing their interest.
Cadamarteri began his career at Everton before joining Bradford in 2002.
Cash-strapped Bradford named Colin Todd as their new manager last Friday, but their entire squad was put up for sale by the club's administrators in May.
They hope to satisfy the League at next month's board meeting that they can make it through next season.
