Barnet snap up ex-Port Vale midfielder Tommy Fraser

Barnet have signed midfielder Tommy Fraser on a two-and-a-half-year deal, following his release by League Two rivals Port Vale.

The 23-year-old was Vale's club captain but left by mutual consent on Wednesday after being unhappy with a lack of football under new boss Jim Gannon.

He played 64 games for the League Two club following his move from Brighton.

He told the Bees website: "I'm a bit of an old-school midfielder. I'll get stuck in and try my hardest."
