Aldershot Town goalkeeper Mikhael Jaimez Ruiz says it feels good to be back at the League Two club.
The 26-year-old has returned for a second spell at the Recreation Ground just six months after joining Venezuelan side Yaracuyanos.
He told BBC Surrey: "The opportunity to play Premier League in Venezuela didn't work out. I couldn't adapt and that's why I decided to return.
"It wasn't an easy decision but it's good to be back."
The Venezuelan stopper was released by previous Shots boss Kevin Dillon following their play-off semi-final defeat to Rotherham in May last year.

"We could have been playing in League One but it's a new season and we are where we are," Jaimez Ruiz said.
"There's a new manager and a new philosophy that he wants to have in the club."
