Aldershot Town forward Marlon Jackson wants to extend his loan spell with the League Two club.
The 20-year-old is set to return to parent club Bristol City when his one-month deal expires after Saturday's match against Morecambe.
Jackson told BBC Surrey: "Hopefully I've done enough to gain an extension. I'm not too sure yet.
"There's more confidence in my game and I want to be playing football. I enjoy playing here so it would be good."
Jackson feels he has improved as a player since his loan spell at the Recreation Ground last season.

"I understand playing League Two football a lot more than last year, which has helped me," he said.
"I had the game in the Championship [for Bristol City, against Millwall] which helped me learn a lot as well.
"This year I've had more of a goal threat than last year so hopefully I can start hitting the back of the net now."
