Aldershot Town boss Dillon wants more from strikers
Dillon's Aldershot side currently sit 15th in League Two
Aldershot Town manager Kevin Dillon says he wants his strikers to start improving their goal tally.
The Shots have netted seven goals in their 10 League Two matches.
He told BBC Surrey: "Our goals for column is poor and that's what we've got to improve on. We're always in the game and looking to score.
"I don't want us to start feeling sorry for ourselves. We've got to make sure that when we do get chances we take them. We've got players who can score."
Dillon added that his attacking line must improve if they want to challenge for promotion.
"We've got a very steady back four and a competent goalkeeper. Now its up to the boys in front of them to get the goals," he said.
"Marvin Morgan's got three and could have had another three.
"He's the type of player that could go on a run and score in every game.
"People don't realise the amount of defensive work he does - especially at set pieces but he needs to be a bit more astute in front of goal."
Aldershot travel to Oxford United in Saturday's League Two clash.
