Aldershot midfielder Luke Guttridge says the Shots are not concerned by their indifferent start to the season.
Town have drawn six of their first eight games, winning just once, to lie 18th in League Two, three points above the relegation zone.
Guttridge told BBC Surrey: "I don't think we are far off.
"It's a gradual thing and it will change. None of the lads are worried. I'm sure we will get to where we want to be this season."
The 28-year-old former Cambridge United, Southend and Northampton man added: "You can look at things negatively or positively.

"We're trying to be positive. No teams have given us massive problems.
"A lot of teams just need one win to take the pressure off, and then that can open the floodgates."
