Aldershot Town striker Marvin Morgan remaining positive
Morgan joined Aldershot from Woking in May 2008
Aldershot Town striker Marvin Morgan is backing himself to end his barren spell in front of goal.
The 27-year-old scored 16 times for the Shots last season but has only scored once in seven games this term.
He told BBC Surrey: "I've got goals in me but it's just not happening at the minute. I need to keep plugging away.
"The gaffer [Kevin Dillon] keeps saying it will come. I know myself it will come. I am hoping the fans don't start getting on my back."
And Morgan says the club's supporters must stay positive despite the fact the team have scored just four goals in their opening six League Two matches.
"I know it's disappointing but the fans have got to stay behind us and cheer us on.
"We want the home ground to be a fortress again. We've got a massive game next week against Wycombe and the crowd must not be against us."
