Aldershot Town defender Ben Herd has thanked the club's fans following their League Two play-off defeat.
The Shots were beaten 3-0 on aggregate by Rotherham in their semi-final.
Herd told BBC Surrey: "They were in good voice and magnificent right to the end. It's a shame we couldn't give them more to celebrate.
"They've been fantastic all season especially to me personally and as a team. Hopefully this time next year we go up automatically."

The 24-year-old added: "It's really gutting for the team because we've come so far together. To go out like that is a bit heartbreaking.
"We played some good stuff and were on top possession-wise in the first half.
"It was a sucker punch to concede just before half-time. To concede then just knocked the wind out of our sails."
