Chris Blackburn aiming to raise Aldershot standards
Aldershot defender Chris Blackburn believes the 1-1 draw against Rochdale should set the side's standard for the remainder of the season.
The Shots, who currently lie ninth in League Two, held the leaders to a 1-1 draw on Tuesday night.
Blackburn told BBC Surrey: "We know that's the bar, that's where we need to get to.
"We've got to aspire to that (standard) now. If it's a tough game or an easy game, we've got to do the best we can."
He added:"They (Rochdale) are not top of the league for no reason but as I've said, they've had a few more games than us over the period and that was our first game for three or four weeks.
"We've got a couple of games to catch up and when we get those games under our belt who's to say we can't be that good if not better?"
Blackburn added: "We were rusty, we haven't trained on grass for a while so we'll take some positives out of that definitely."
