Glentoran took over at the top of the Carling Premiership thanks to a comfortable win at Suffolk Road.

Neal Gawley gave the Glens a 15th-minute lead with a right-foot shot but DC nearly equalised with when Mark Dickson's shot crashed off the bar.

The home side had Declan O'Hara sent-off early in the second half for hauling back Daryl Fordyce.

It was Fordyce who tapped in number two and substitute Mattie Burrows jinked his way through for a late third.
