Midfielder Michael Collins has left Crusaders after just four months with the north Belfast club.
Collins, who joined from League of Ireland club Dundalk, made his Crues debut in January but his appearances were restricted by injury problems.
Crusaders boss Stephen Baxter said the much-travelled Collins was being released for financial reasons.
"He is one of our higher earners so needs to be playing regularly. We must keep our budget in check," said Baxter.
Striker Mark Dickson, who has been troubled by a knee injury, is also leaving Crusaders.
The former Larne player joined the Seaview club from Linfield in May 2008.
