Neil McCafferty is one of three players who have signed for Portadown.

The highly-rated midfielder, who left Dungannon Swifts at the end of the season, has agreed a two-year contract.

Manager Ronnie McFall has also added Ballymena's 20-year-old defender Chris Ramsey and former Ports central defender Henry McStay to his squad.

Ramsey has signed a three-year deal and McStay an initial one-year contract while striker Richard Lecky is staying at the club on a new one-year deal.

Ramsey can play at either right-back or in the centre of defence.

McStay played for Portadown between 2005 and 2007, before moving on to England and then to Belgiim, where he played for Royal Antwerp.

McFall has moved to strengthen his squad after losing John Convery and Gary McCutcheon, who were both placed on the transfer list.
