The teams will meet again on Tuesday night after 10-man Newry fought back to draw this JJB Sports Irish Cup sixth round game at Lakeview Park.
City's Gavin McDonnell was red-carded after upending Aaron Baker and Paul McDowell netted the resulting penalty to give Loughgall a 35th minute lead.
Baker wasted an excellent chance when he was clear on goal but shot wide.
Alan Davidson equalised for the visitors with a low strike past keeper Marc Robinson on 58 minutes.
There is a 1945 BST kick-off for the replay at the Newry Showqgrounds.
The winners of the tie will travel to play Coleraine on Saturday 3 April at 1500 GMT.
Linfield await the winners in the semi-finals on 10 April, with Ballymena also playing Portadown on that date.
