Northern Ireland Under-21 manager Steve Beaglehole is promising radical changes to his squad after they were humiliated by Iceland on Tuesday night.
The Irish were hammered 6-2 in Coleraine by Iceland to leave their hopes of European Championship qualification in tatters.
"We had too many out there that did not really want to do it," said Beaglehole.
"They wanted to play it their way. There won't be too many of them who will play at Under-21 level again."
Beaglehole's boys trailed by four goals at the break and two second-half goals by substitute Josh Megennis was little consolation.
The Northern Ireland boss was angered at the manner of their second successive defeat after they went down to the Czech Republic last week.
With Germany also in the five-team group, Northern Ireland probably need to stay unbeaten in their remaining games to have any hope of progressing
"There is a weakness in certain individuals in the group," added Beaglehole.
"I have seen it develop in training when players do not give a lot for the whole of the training session.
"When it gets hard, they jack it in. You can't have that."
Beaglehole was appalled by the first half performance and added: "I could not believe it.
"It was a major shock to see what was unfolding in front of may eyes.
"We have competed well in the against good sides in the past. We will have long look at this game to see where we go from here."
